Has any MSI user tried to access www.msicomputer.com/msi_user/ recently? I get a runtime error, and have not received any reply from the site admin. Does anyone else get a runtime error?

Hmmm, my message seemed to have disappeared, so I'll put it back. I tried and it worked fine, but then again I have no MSI stuff in here.

Weird... I tried it in both IE and Firefox again, but this time I just got a page load error. Could you help?

Okay, I just tried it again, and it came up just a plain white blank. Must be a problem with the site. coastie

Yeah, it just came up for me as well. I think they may have had a problem.

Thank you guys all for helping me on this. I still get this when I try to visit my support submission:

Server Error in '/msi_user' Application.

The site takes about half a minute to load, then I get that. Did you guys try going to that link in particular? I know www.msicomputer.com works fine, but right in that subdirectory I get problems.

I went to the link you had in the original post, which appeared to be a registration link, I think. If it says Server error, then I'm resonably sure it is not you, but somewhere in the pipe, maybe even your provider. coastie

I love that speedy reply, thanks coastie! So something along the way is tripping up what I see? This could take awhile. Could a traceroute fix some things?

Lol somehow you were able to post a reply before my browser could reload the page :P It seems PCWorld is going a little sluggish for me, but other sites load fine. Interesting.

Well, I guess that after thinking about it, I don't know if it would be effective, since I can access their main site fine, but not that directory.

Yeah, it has been and I guess I best file a report as someone else has mentioned it. That direct shot link that you includded is iffy at best. It could well be their servers are screwed up. I am reasonably sure you don't have a problem at your end. When I last accessed it, it was really slow as if there was a mass of people trying to access it at once. coastie

Lol I've probably sent three emails to the site manager over the course of a month, no reply. Maybe they are too busy.

Lol MSI has always been good working for me... I guess I'd stick with ASUS, but they didn't have many boards in my price range at the time. Do you think PCWorld's product complaint person, (i'm sorry, I can't think of their name) could help me?

I don't think so, although I thought I saw something sometime back, but don't really remember any much about what it may have been. coastie
