I am using OE 6, and have been for years, but although the PC boots quickly ( and closes down OK), the delay between the PC starting and the email showing is about 2 hours!

Thereafter, once the emails start coming through, it's very reliable and troublefree. However, it is a nuisance having to wait so long. Internet Explorer has the same time delay, also.

I regulary defrag, use CCleaner, and have plenty of anti-malware and AVG (free) installed, and spyware apps, ( all free!). I have checked all of the software connections, and the ticks are seemingly in the correct places, so if anyone has any ideas how to solve this, I would appreciate it.
