the pcw forum image uploader is causing problems for me (its been like this for a while now)

i can insert one pic just fine, but on the
second pic is the problem i keep getting a prompt (see below)

mainly i think problem lies in that i can't select the second uploaded picture (or third & fourth)







it happens on multiple computers- running vista or xp

any thoughts on a solution?

Crazy, are you running IE or Firefox? The reason I ask is because RGreen has had the same problem, where he can upload only 1 pic with IE, but that problem doesn't happen to him with FF.

You dont need to use that thing to insert image, just put ! on each end of image URL.

Can you insert one at the time..? I can only insert 1 at the time.

Also, have you updated your Adobe Flash Player to version 9? A bunch of us were having some problems and version 9 took care of that.

Ok, I think that's part of your problem, Crazy. Please install v9 and then uninstall v10.

The way around uploading more than one image at a time

is to use Firefox 2..0.0.18 and Flash Player version 9 . That's how to get around it.

This is the only site that does this.

As you know I have IE and I can upload more than one pic at a time. With the help of Adobe FP v9, of course. :p

As others have said, Firefox is probably the culprit. Firefox v2 works fine with the image uploader, but v3 causes the problem you described. Until Mozilla fixes whatever is causing the problem, the best workaround is to use IE when you want to upload more than one image per post.

i'm the internet speed demon, IE is too slow

its pure torture to have to wait for webpages to load

I told Crazy about all of us who were having problems with Adobe Flash Player v 10, so we uninstalled it and installed version9 instead, and the problems stopped.

But then again, sometimes people do whatever they want to do, irregardless of the advise received.

Which low version do you have? My computer works the best with v9. I won't be installing v10 no matter what!

All you do, sweetie, is you go to your Installed Programs, (you know, like when you're going to uninstall a program?) Just scroll down the list and Adobe Flash Player will show which version you have. If it's really ancient you might want to upgrade to a newer one.
