Hi everyone!

I just installed the new version of IE7 Pro 2.4.4 It seems to be a lot faster than the other one I had. It does an excellent job at blocking banners, adverts, etc., on whatever website you visit/surf. But what I like the best - besides being free - is that it very effectively blocks the obnoxious ads in my Yahoo email account.

Do you have the new one yet? If you don't have it and would like to download it you can get it here.

Thankx sweetie!!

I see you are liking IE7Pro! Good , the free part is also the best.

Even in IE8 Beta 2 , it works like a charm. To tell you the truth,

IE 8 is allot better then IE7. Faster , more options and good looking.

If it wasn't for all of those exploits (attacks) I would probably change

over. But as MS continues to use ActiveX well, I'll stay with Firefox.

Hey Tech!!

Why wait? IE 8 Beta 2 is better then IE7 and Faster. If you haven't tried it

I would suggest you do. I have been using it off and on since the beta 2

came out. It is really a nice one this time. I'm surprised.

LOL Ooooh no, Tech, this is about IE7 Pro, the Add-on for Internet Explorer that blocks banners and ads.
It's not about Internet Explorer 7 going into the new IE8, now in Beta, which is what you're talking about. :D hehe

Hi mon cherie,
You have the new 2.4.4 version? It's faster than the other one for sure.

And a little different too, I was looking for that thing that you told me to uncheck on the old one, (something about Manager?) but the menus on this one are a little different.

Here's a Snip I took of the menu called Modules:

Darn, it's not too clear. I'll have to repost the Snip, on another post, because the Image uploader is not letting me redo it.

Is that what you have also?

Oh, Ok.... I've heard good things about AdBlock Plus with FF. If you have that one, then you don't need IE7 Pro.

:D

Hi Adama. This one still in Beta 1.......Hope it doesn't give you a hard time..LOL
I had IE 7.pro for awhile.....and the Mouse gesture function kept messing me up.......It works too good......I 'd say too sensitive ....for me.

I don't know if you try it yet....When you move the mouse to the left...(little faster than normal)....the hold page will jump back to the last site.....rather than click the left arrow.. Try it ....you might like it.

Oh...Here is your snip..:

LOL I didn't realize it was still in Beta until I went looking through Preferences and found the new menus. I always swore up and down that I'd never install anything in Beta and here I was, installing this one! LOL Oh well...

Anyway, how in the world do you get your snips to be soo clear?

Hey sweetie!!

No , I didn't downloaded it yet. Did you notice that this was a BETA ?

AND only a Beta ONE! I would go back to the other version for now Adama.

Let them finish this version first and then we can all benefit from it.

But, for now , I'll wait. I'm surprised to see you try out Betas.I'm usually

the one to try them out. I only try out when in Beta 2. One can be VERY buggy.

If you are to keep this version , in Modules , Uncheck the Mini Download Manager,

Find bar and the Auto Form Filler.

You can Check Mark "Left Click To SHow IE7Pro Menu" . This will show you the

Menu when you Left Click on the Icon in the Task bar of the browser.

Hi Adama. Try not to snip it too wide.( If you can eliminate the area that you don't need).....Notice my snip is narrower than your original .
