Hey Lincoln, Another good app for that is Belarc Advisor. You can get most everything with that, includingthe version of the software you are running. coastie65

I use WinKeyFinder. It's quite small and has several extra features such as a password generator and other key related options.
I just got SIW (System Information for Windows) and it tells you everything there is to know about your system including keys, hardware info, and software info.

Usually the Product ID on major manufacturer's machines (such as Dell) is an OEM key which may be on all of those purchased in a batch. When reinstalling from the OEM disc you should use that ID, not the one you will find stuck on the side of the cabinet. However, the one on the cabinet is your actual license key.

I use produkey. It will list all MS apps and their registration keys.

I have a CD of Digital River's ACDSee, bought and paid for, in 2005. The receipts in my file. Digital River will not respond to my request for the PID and I don't seem to have written the PID down. Mother board failure has me in a whirl.

Can I retrieve a PID from a CD with any of the above or other programs?
Respectfully,
Noel
