I need to purchase a new camera and I really need some help. I saw the Kodak Z1285 12.3 MP 5X Is this camera a good buy? I'll be paying About $134.00

I just shoot family and friends and important occasions. TY

kodak cams are pretty cool, but

i've found that panasonic cameras have much better image quality and work better in low light

and you dont really want double digit megapixels unless you plan on resizing the pictures to a more uploadable size (for sharing)

even with my 7 megapixel panasonic camera, the image filesize is ~3mb which sucks to upload to shutterfly on a dsl lite connection
