I love this on-going "war", but I saw the movie!! The Pirates of Silicon Valley- loved it, btw! I want to know what happened to the lovely whiz kids at Xerox PARC, who really invented all the cool stuff we all use- and whose idiot suit-bosses in NY never recognized them for the geniuses they were, or for the value of the hardware/software they created that Xerox ignored -to their financial peril-
I've got one word for you, Benjamin: "Vista" -with apologies to The Graduate-
Merry Christmas/ Happy Hanukah/Joyous Ramadan/bright&clear Winter Solstice, computer lovers!

Wow. The rift between Apple fanboys and haters is so distinct.
Call me a pansy neutral guy if you wish, but I seriously think the arguments are just ludicrous.
Apple's OSX has been coming under a rising number of hacker/virus attacks. Its convenient status as the "safer" OS is no longer impeccable.
Windows has always been the more-used OS and consequently the most hit OS.
While I have respect for MacBooks, I refuse to buy one for now. Why? I've always been able to find a desktop or laptop PC with same specs or better at a fraction of the equivalent MAC. My Dell desktop which runs on Vista just fine.
End of story. Bye.
