I just received my Acer Aspire One yesterday and noted in the User's Guide on Page 8 that the hotkey using Fn + F7 can be used to turn the internal touchpad on and off. Good job, Acer, for making this so easy to accomplish.

WHY are ALL laptop touch pads located directly under the space bar? Why can't the touchpad be located on the far right of the laptop? That is a much more natural & user friendly location. When I use my desktop computer, I Never locate my track ball in Front of my keyboard.

Thanks a lot. I just got my Acer Aspire /M touch laptop with Windows 8 Pro installed and I was struggling with the jumping cursor. Your suggestion really helped me and the Fn + F7 hotkey turned it off. Worked like a charm.
