What are people's opinions of ESET's security software? They have a very funny website about santa's identity being stolen (www.santafraud.com) and I started looking into them.

Thanks

Hey kai!!

Yes, most definitely, If you are looking to pay for a security suite ESET

the makers of NOD32 is one if not the best as far as security for your

PC.

This is there Official site. ESET - NOD32 .

You can also verify their effectiveness by taking a look at :

AV Comparatives .

AND

Virus Bulletin .

Hope this Helps.

:D Hi :

Eset Software has One of the Top antiVIRUS ( though nowadays that is "straying" into

other security "areas" ) programs called "NOD32", though their "Smart Security" is

considered "Average" at best .

Hmmmm..... NOD32 seems to be quite expensive at $59.99 per 1 person.

But it's worth more than a years subscription to McAfee or Norton :p

I'm thinking about trying out Trend Micro Internet Security.

Hey techie!!

Are you just making fun of Trend Micro or are you serious ?

If you would like very good advice ,Don't even consider it.

Their Antivirus is a good one but, the rest is crap. The same can

be said for others. You should know by now that the best in class

is still Avira. For the Avira Premium you would have to dish out

$26.95 for one year.

PLZ reconsider.

Flash,
I was being serious about Trend Micro and am interested in seeing what I like best the most. AM also converting my message into it's own topic.
