You have helped me in the past and my brother is having a big problem with his computer. It will play videos in the normal mode, but when you go to the full screen mode it starts going frame by frame.

The computer is a HP with 1.3 GhZ Intel Celeron Processor, 128 MB memory, 40.0 gb ultra DMA hard drive, broadband.

Do you have any ideas on why this is happening? He just got broadband and was hoping to watch videos full screen and is really bummed out. :-(

Thanks.

Hi midnights, As snorg has said, definitely needs an increase in memory the more the better. You didn't say what kind of graphics was being used. Also, was this 128 MB the computer memory or a grahics memory on a card ? Actually a little more system information would be helpful. coastie65

I don't know what operating systen is being used, but it should at least 1 gb of ram, if the motherboard will support it. Is this a Laptop? I was unable to really find anything on the computer. That graphics chipset in there may be a problem as well. coastie

If it's a lappy, then the Video card would be somewhat problematic.

Hey Midnights!!

When you are on the Microsoft's site, can you see if you can update the

driver for the Intel® 82810E Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation) ?

If not then verify the Device Manager in XP if the driver has ever been updated.

This is how you get to the Device Manager in XP : Follow the instructions from :

http://www.microsoft.../devicemgr.mspx .

Hi midnightsmama, If you are running XP with 128 MB of memory, you are in serious need of a memory upgrade as the minimum for XP is 256 Mbs. Acording to the belarc advisor you are running 1- 256 Mb module and 1- 128 MB module for a total of 384 MB. That is still a little light for that kind of application. coastie
