This past week, this spy guard 2008 just popped up from no where. And has been nothing but problems. I tried to get rid of it from my control panel, and it keeps on coming back. It totaly got rid of my desktop picture. Any help out there?

Hey gale!!
Well, you are not the only one this week who got infected by one or another
of those bogus antispyware . Now, if you can , download these three apps.
(all free) and run Full Scans. Here is what you do.
First , download , install , and Up-date the definitions (very important) , before
you run a FULL SCAN of your PC. MalwareBytes AntiMalware .
Secondly . download , install and Up-date the definitions (very important) before
doing a FULL SCAN of your PC with : SUPERAntiSpyware .
These scans Will take a long time if they find Any infected files.
Thirdly. I would like you to run this program after you ran both of the other two :
Again , download install and Up-Date the definitions and run the program.
To download . once on the page for RogueRemover , scroll down to the bottom of the
page and use the download link the says "Download from MalwareBytes"
RogueRemover .
Now, when the scans are done in the two first scanners, please , go to the
LOGs tab in MalwareBytes AntiMalware and Copy and Paste the logs that the scanner
has prepared for this day.
For SUPERAntiSpyware , go to the "Preferences" tab then the LOGs tab and Copy and Paste
the contents of the logs for this day.
There is no log for the other security program for you to display.

Hey Gale!!
Glad to be of service. If, for any reason, you should encounter another problem,
please feel free to ask. We have very knowledgeable members on this forum.
Now , to help in Cleaning the Temporary Files that simply clutter your PC, plz ,
download this little .exe called ATF Cleaner from Atribune .
It does not require an install. Just double click on the
.exe and then choose the"Select All" .

Then click on the "Empty Selected" .

This will take but a few seconds and the BAD Temps Files will be gone.
This program is very safe and will NOT delete necessary files for your
PC to operate properly.
IF you use Firefox then once the first action is complete ,click on the Firefox name
at the top of the program and repeat the procedure.
I also wish you and your's a Very Happy Holiday and the best in the New Year!

I'm glad that the instructions were of some help to you also.
Now , If your AntiVirus did not pick-up on this threat , could you
plz run this AntiVirus program.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Download.
Dr.WebCureIt . This program does NOT require you to install.
and will not interfere with the security programs already installed
on your PC.
It is a .exe that you simply double click on. Once the program is up
