Problem is trying to use the Microsoft Office license that comes with a computer that dies...you cannot transfer the license to a different computer, even if the first one dies (5 year old Gateway, Microsoft "support" confirmed). This is very limiting. Oh, well, switched to OpenOffice.org programs! Everyone should do this, unless company pays for MS suite. Do not order MS Office Software with a computer if it is not transferable...too expensive to update as well.

I bought my Office (03 and 07) through my college with a student license. Have installed and reinstalled several times, have installed each on several different machines. Have not had any listening issues yet. But yeah open office is a good choice for a "cheap" solution for a work around if the office license has been "used up".
