DELL 9200 INSPIRON

My dog told me I needed to get a new laptop in June well now that I have a new laptop I want to fix my 9200 Inspiron looking for a Motherboard I have found the 9300 that has 4USB ports on the back of the MB; any help you can give me that will get me the motherboard so I can turn my puppy's mess into a gaming laptop!!!!! HELP

Hi and welcome to the forum. From what I saw, it is listed as a gamer as is and the specs did seem pretty good for a laptop. Good processor, not sure of the Graphics package, but seems pretty good. The memory could be upgraded to 2 Gb. Adding extra USB ports could be problematic due to the power supply, as it may not be enough to support the extra USB items that may be plugged in. coastie65

Thank you Coastie65 yes it is a good gamer but I need to get the motherboard for the 9200 it only has 2USB ports, I can find the 9300 motherboard which has 4USB ports,

I don't really see a problem although tearing into a Lappy ain't for the faint of heart. As I said, the biggest concern for me, would be if the Power Supply was adequat for the extra USB stuff, if used. coastie
