Hi Dawiss and welcome to the forum. Turn off your computer and unplug the power cord open, your computer and on the motherboard you will see a small battery like a large watch battery. Remove this battery and wait a couple of minutes and then replace it. When you restart the computer, it should reset the BIOS back to the default settings. Don't woory about any messages you may get concernin CMOS, it is telling you that your clock & calendar are not set. coastie65

Hi, If you haven't tried to start in safe mode then try it. If you are on a video card rather than Onboard chipset, try plugging into the Onboard chipset port and removing the card. If it works then you will need to comppletely uninstall the drivers for the Video card and the reinstall the card per the instructions. coastie

Hi If you are currently using a Video Card, then the VGA port for your onboard chipset is blue. You would simply plug the cable from the monitor to taht and remove the video card. coastie

Hi Dawiss, That's good and it is a pleasure. You can completely unistall the Video card and try a freash install to see if it works, if not, than I'd say the card has failed. It happens. I had one fail after 5 months. Hope you and yours have a great Holiday. coastie

Hi Dawiss, I forgot to mention that when you install a video card, youmust go into the Device Manager and Disable the onboard Chipset and when you go back you must enable it again plus uninstall the drivers for the Video Card. coastie
