HELP!
So I followed the instructions, and I can see my newly created ringtone in my itunes library, but it will not sync to my iphone. What am I doing wrong?
Help for me too! Ive got the same issue. Dave
I know this Thread is old but I thought I would comment and give you guys some feedback...
1) Yes this works for the Mac too ... however there is no option to "convert to AAC" when you right click the song for the second time....the option is in the toolbar at the top under "advanced".
2) I had a problem with getting it to sync to my iPhone too...what I realised the problem was I didn't have sync ringtones selected. click the iPhone from the left bar on iTunes and there should be tabs at the top e.g. Summary / Info /Apps / Ringtones etc. Click the Ringtone tab and check the Sync Ringtones box.
I did this all today and it still works even on the 3gs iPhone.
Hope that helps
the latest version of itunes for mac doesn't have the convert to AAC option only convert to mp3 is available, i think they removed the convert to AAC because they found out about this ringtone workaround. If anyone knows how to get the convert to AAC back I would Like to know.
thanks r2sail
