This seems to be a month of milestones. Coastie pointed out while being congratuated by Number for passing a milestone, that Number had also passed the 1,000 point milestone and was now an old hand.
h2. Congratulations to Number 6!

Thanks, [~22087]. I didn't expect to be noticed by a big dog (rather bear :) ) like you.

Yeah, I totally missed both occasions. I can never remember where the point count is, as I see the post count if I think to look. Way to go number.

Oh yes. We take notice of anyone who helps. And besides, as I like to say, we all made our first post as newbies not fully understanding how the system worked.

Hey, ~50619], the point count is right above the picture of the top members. The link is called [View all Members.

We try to acknowledge the milestones as that is what they are. I remember I did pay a small amount of attention to it and after I hit 1000 and had 4 bars lit, I prettymuch forgot about it as I had never seen 5 lit. I was reply to a post by Adama, and something about her avatar caught my attention. I realized that all five bars were lit and she had 5001 posts at the time. That is when I realized that you get the fifth bar on the 5000th post and that was quite an accomplishment and I started a thread. It was that 5th bar being lit, that was just odd enough to catch my attention. Somebody is usually watching. :D

I remember having 78 points and feeling pretty good about myself. I couln't imagine how someone could get five bars. How points fly, eh?

Yeah. You get busy at times and I guess they do roll up.
