So, I'm playing with Beta 2 of Firefox and appreciate the work that has gone in as far. I see that they've added a button to the right that opens new tabs by user request.

Any thoughts?

What's the best improvement from 3.0 to 3.1 in your opinion?

Do you know when 3.1 final is coming? Anything more specific than early '09?

Hmmmm: Anything MAJOR? Sorry!
Minor things:
# Private browsing is new, although I haven't used it consistently.
# The new tab button to the right is nice .
# The browser speed is quicker.

What do you mean by new tab button over to the right? Does that mean you can put just any toolbar item over there near the search bar?

new tab button on the right meaning you can now open tabs using a new button that's been added to the top right corner next to the second arrow pointing down.

Hey techie !!

Is the beta still restricting you to only one image per post ? If so, then they can keep on

working on it. In FF2 I have a new tab button but, mine is on the left side of the address

bar. I have a couple of add-ons for you to try .

The first one adds a context menu item for Dr.WebCureIt . This is when you want to

verify if a link is infected with bad Java Scipt and if you want to know what's hiding

behind that link for what you are about to download:

Dr.WebCureIt .

There's also one for IE :

Dr.WebCureIt IE .

The other one is to prevent flash video and music players on any site :

Stop Autoplay .

ya, some of them that are available in their customize toolbar options can be added/removed. This is the 3.05 old build that i have and i always add a few extra buttons to firefox as they are missing in default build. You can see the new tab , new window and downloads buttons added on the top left side.

I guess TFF is talking about this only button present by default in 3.1 beta2 build. Is that so TFF ?

Wouldn't know - I uninstalled this a couple hours ago and wondered where the big improvements were hiding.
