what is www.?

When my internet clicks on a site and I click my mouse over it

the site says www. before it is this normal or is something wrong

I get confused seeing www each time I clickie around to see my emails and read my news

No, that's normal. Not all web sites have it in the address, but most do. It stands for World Wide Web. You may want to read the Wikipedia article about it called World Wide Web.

"WWW" is the abbreviation in short for World Wide Web
