Several years ago, I purchased a software program called 'Audio Surgeon'. Here is the proof of purchase:
I have purchased several computers since I bought Audio Surgeon. When I install the program on a new computer I have to activate it with Voyetra before it will function. I recently built a new computer for myself and when I tried to activate Audio Surgeon Voyetra told me I had installed it on too many computers and refused to activate it. I contacted their support and explained the problem. They informed me they no longer support the program since the program was very old. I couldn't understand why they would refuse my request if they no longer sold or supported the program.
Today, January 11, 2009 I signed onto their site and they are still offering purchases and downloads of this program. I will advise anyone considering a purchase of this software ( and any other of their products ) to avoid doing business with them. There is other software on the market that will accomplish the same results and some of is available without charge. If anyone is having the same problem, contact me as I am considering a lawsuit against Voyetra.

Voyetra is still selling this program from their Website. I just downloaded a trial copy to test whether thay are still selling it.
This is a copy of mail received from Voyetra:

{font:Courier New}{size:2}This Software is very old. It was purchased on
5/6/2003. It has since been discontinued and it does not support current systems
and technologies. A lot of the features are not supported in new systems and in
some systems it may occasionally crash resulting in data loss. It should be used
in Windows Vista. Since there is no more development for this software, we would
kindly recommend that you use a different software program for your
applications. I am sorry but we do not have any replacement program and we
are no longer developing Software. {size}{font}

Well really ...and how was i suppose to know that before i tried to install it !!!! they are morons and not a trusted and morally minded lot to say the least . they deserve to be sued. they also added like in your letter their are many free version like theirs but, they could help and suggest some links to go too.
