I'm using Audacity 1.2.6 and every time I finish recording audio, it moves it about 1 second to the left (as evinced by the arrows indicating that there is audio before the zero mark). I'd like to know why it moves the audio and what I can do to prevent it. What I'm doing now is to zoom in, move it to the left, zoom in more, move it more, etc.

I noticed that it adds a bit of silence to the end of the recording also. Is there a setting anyone knows of to stop it from auto-editing like that?

I use FlexiMusic Audio Editor for editing purposes, you cannot fint any audio movements try with it.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think I'll stick with Audacity, though, because I'm familiar with it and the movement problem isn't significant enough to me to jump ship.
