I have a Hp Pavillion laptop. And Ive been wanting to ask something about my internet exploer browser. For some reason every time im on a website 4 awhile my browser always seems to close, in other words "stop working". when it does this it says "internet explorer has stopped working" then it will say "internet explorer is restarting". It is constantly doing this. Anyone know why this happends? Im thinking it because I have windows vista.
BTW, when I click on a link and a another window opens Im fine but once I open another window It will stop working again. Idk what it is....and its driving me crazy!!! Thanks for all the help!

Hi Mizzvee and welcome to the PCWorld Communities. :D
A couple of points, I have changed your Discussion title to give a clearer indication of your question. For future reference, please be as descriptive as possible in both the heading of your Discussion as well as the post itself. Also, I have moved this Discussion from the Laptops Community into the Web Browsing and Email Community.
I missed that you already indicated that you are on Windows Vista. This would mean that you are using Internet Explorer 7. Now, Internet Explorer 7 is integrated into Windows Vista so there is no uninstalling and installing possible.
My new first question is do you have any add-ons or toolbars within Internet Explorer?

Ah, I figured as much. There may be more. Please follow these steps to list all the current Add-Ons installed within Internet Explorer:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click on Tools -> Manage Add-Ons -> Enable to Disable Add-Ons
- Once the list appears, please post everything that is listed under the Enabled section

Okay, please select each of the Yahoo Add-Ons and select Disable. Once all four are disabled, close that window and then close Internet Explorer. Reopen Internet Explorer and see if you have the same problem.
Now, since the only way to see if this works is to test it out, I may not be around if this does not resolve the issue. However, as people come into the Community and read your Discussion, they will respond with any other suggestions.
