Hello,

What is a good free free backup program that will also encrypt data also?

OK, pay is ok, if not really expensive.

Something easy to use. Like you select folders and/or documents. They get copied to a USB key. Then get encrypted.

thanks for any help

A good free solution is to use TrueCrypt in conjunction with 7-zip. The data you want to back up can be compressed automatically into one easy-to-access archive in your favorite format (zip, rar, etc.) to an encrypted volume on a pen drive, external HDD, or network share. 7-zip can be run from the command line, so as long as your encrypted volume is mounted, 7-zip can do the backup for you via a scheduled task. If you are really clever, you can write a VB script to mount the encrypted volume automatically and unmount it after the backup is done.
