Web Browsing is Slow When Using Firefox

i upgraded to 6 mb or mp for internet speed, and it runs slow and my computer runs slow , vista any way to speed it up , i have 2 gb of ram , and don't say switch to mac or linux or xp or sometin.

Try Google Chrome, Opera.
