How can I record a webinar for viewing later?

I would like to record a webinar onto my hard drive so I can view it later. I only want to record what I am viewing - I don't want to create and record a presentation to play to other people. Is there reasonably priced software that is available to do this?

Thanks!

Windows Media Encoder 9 is free.
You can set it to do a screen capture while the webinar is going on and play back the resulting WMV file later with windows media player.

download and info here

Thanks for your reply! One more question - I assume that if the webinar audio is via telephone that the Media Encoder 9 will not pick up the audio - True ???

Thanks again!

If sound is only coming over the phone, get something that picks up the sound from the phone and feed it to audio "line in" on your PC.

Artman,

Did you figure out how to record your webinar. I have a gotomeeting webinar scheduled tomorrow and want to record it. I downloaded the Microsoft link as described in these communications but i haven't figured it out. My email is mikenewman@cox.net if you had any success.

Thanks

Hi Snorg,

I'd like to record a gotomeeting webinar tomorrow (Thursday-1908) evening. I have camtasia which is suitable for recording webinars. There is one single tiny little problem. No sound when I play it back. I downloaded WM Encoder 9 what you suggested but it is the same, no sound at all when I play it back. What is your suggestion? What do I have to do?
Thanks in advance
