Are you using the plain text formatting or the rich text one ?
I prefer the plain text one . In the plain text one , the superscript can be used by the "^" exponentiation symbol and the subscript by the "~" tilde symbol.

Quote

2^3^ will turn into 2 ^3^ .There is a space after 2.
2~3~ will turn into 2 ~3~.There is a space after 2.

The emotions can be inserted similarly. ":" followed by ")" will be :) , ":" followed by "D" will be :D .

In the rich text editor , there are buttons for everything but i feel its a bit buggy .There is a Plain text markup help link in the upper right corner of plain text editor which contains all the plain text formatting information.

Hope this helps. If this drags on longer , mods will shift this to a new discussion so that it gets more responses.

EDIT - The emotions are gone ,i dont know why they arent appearing in this post. I have always done it like this only in past.

Ah thank you my friend, for teaching me how to use these forums. I didn't know those facts you bring to light. Even though I am a bookworm, and have been all my life, I still didn't get to read any of the RTFM's here, except for the Community Standards, in detail...

I defaulted to the Plain Text editor because I am unable to comprehend the Rich Text mode (without looking at the RTFM), it is so buggy. A whitespace before or after a line and the whole formatting gets screwed up...

But I shall use your tips in the Rich Text mode, as I constantly toggle between both, manually correcting any errors introduced into the formatting by Rich Text entry...

Yes, perhaps we should migrate this thread ourselves... I think the question has been somewhat answered by all interested parties?

Thank you again piyushsingh, be well my friend. Posted Image

Hello Wintard !!

Read about this processor in Infoworld and thought of you. Maybe you have already read about the nehalem processor. Could be that you might add a few to your future 128-bit system.

in my opinion, If you are going to invest in a new computer, and you want a good one, go with a 64 bit. It seems that that is where computing is going. Alienware now only offers 64 bit where as a year ago they only offered 32 bit. The rest of the manufatureres apear doing likewise although most give you a choice. It very well could be that the next time MS jumps a whole point the their NT; (whenever that will be) ; 32 bit may not come along for the ride.
