Interrupted installation with Trend Micro Internet Security 2009

I am trying to install my cd, but keep getting the message "Security threat prevents the installation....." I let the computer update and scan for the threats....final message "no threats" go ahead and install. This keeps looping back to the same spot and I can't finish the installlation...I have been on the phone and worked with the people at Trend Micro for 8 hours trying to correct the problem. I've used the Hijack and System Clean programs that they linked to me and still can't install my disk. I've used Trend for the last 2 years and have been happy with the ease of installation, etc.. I don't know what else I could do. I've also disabled my Windows firewall and tried the installation...didn't work. I've also downloaded and used the Interrupted Installation fix that Trend has on their website...any other suggestions before I go out and buy something else? Thank you!

IF Trend Micro Tech Support cannot help, I doubt anyone else can ; might want to

consider this a "Blessing in Disguise", since there are better security programs

available, some of them FREE . A good Starting Point would be what I wrote at

forums.pcworld.com/docs/DOC-1141|d-1141 . IF you are willing to BUY the Best in

antiVIRUS protection, then I recommend NOD32 from Eset Software . For more

specific recomendations, you would need to provide us with the SPECIFIC Name

of your Operating System and the "Browser" you use, with version number .
