Will an External Graphics Card Improve My Overall Performance

would an external graphics card give me some boost if i were using my laptop with a better and larger monitor than the one on the laptop. fred

Maybe...

It would be highly dependent on what graphics system your computer uses and what you are talking about with an "external graphics card".

How about some specifics. You question is kind of like asking "if a get a new car will it be faster than my current car". Cannot really answer such a question without knowing what the new car and the old car are.
