What goes unmentioned is the gift that keeps on taking, with Skype. I work at home doing html coding of text files. I would like to use Skype (or ooVoo) to place calls to my grandson. When I set up Skype, I got a Skype-related javascript program injected into my html files; there was also a similar program injected by the video-cam driver. The Skype-related program wiped out my html coding, and I lost several days work. Complaints to Skype are handled ONLY by email, and were totally unresponsive, with no problem-solving offered. A similar, but less malicious, injected Javascript program comes from CounterSpy anti-malware. Their injection program did not wipe out my html; they did respond with an explanation (it's a pop-up fixing program, or some such) from technical support. So props to CounterSpy, and thumbs down to Videoconferencing software (VOIP via Skype) and hardware (Logitech video cam).
