Hey Everyone !!

For those not familiar with this site GiveAwayoftheDay , please take a look.

They will have software that, you would normally have to pay for but, for a

24 hr period , in which you must install the "give away", it is completely free.

If you do download any of their give aways then , DO read the "Read Me .txt

that is included with all downloads. It will contain instructions on how to

install and register the product you have downloaded.

I am writting to ask you to visit because they are at this moment , giving away a

utility that I have tried in the past and really liked the convenience of this tool.

It is Driver Magician. It will back-up all of the drivers on your PC and store them

where you want them . If you would like a full review of this utility , read about it

here : Review by Ashraf .

So, plz , don't miss out on this one. You still have 18 Hrs to Deadline.

Hi Flash
I downloaded that program early this morning, and installed it. Nice utility. I got several driver updates that I wouldn't normally have gone looking for, or found. I've been checking GiveAway of the Day, each day, for over a year now, and they occasionally come up with something really useful, depending on your needs.
They also have a site called Game Giveaway of the Day, which offers free, an interesting mix of games on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday only). They're games you normally have to pay for, and although the stuff they offer on any given weekend may not be to your taste, I occasionally find something to keep me amused for a while, so I check it out every week.
Check it out

Hey McB !!

Nice to hear from you. We don't see you on the forums as often as before.

I guess I miss some of the OLD members. Also miss your insight and expertise.

Yes, that utility is a good one. I have the previous version which I downloaded from

them also. I don't usually announce their software but, since I know this one , I

thought it would be nice if someone else would benefit from it. I have been also

looking at Game but , to tell you the truth , I'm not much of a gamer. I do like the

Mahjong games but it's not often one comes up.

Thanks for your comment . Well appreciated.

Hi, ~60096],
I didn't get that particular download because I'm very careful with this computer and don't like to make any big changes, but I appreciate your pointing me toward [Giveaway of the Day
. It's very helpful to see recommendations from people that are security-conscious. If you know the software being given away on that site, I'll be very grateful if you tell us. Thanks again, [~60096].

Hey number !!

Sorry you missed this one, it's a really good utility. But, the bright side is

that you too can check this site from now on and if you see something

that you might be interested in then, the link I posted to Ashraf :Review by Ashraf

is the place to go. He reviews all of the programs that GiveAway has up

for download. He is a independent reviewer and will tell you , us , if the

program is worth the HDD space. Don't worry if you missed this one, they

tend to come back with updated versions .

Thanks for your comment Number. I appreciate your views.

Hey, thanks for the link! It looks like he'll be able to tell me if the software is clean. I'm saving that one, too.

I have used "GOTD" - not bad some interesting stuff - although in many cases you are downloading a "trial" period - for instance I have FOLDER MAKE which will end in a couple of months (slick enough I may "buy" after trial period) ... I appreciate #6 caution about enthusiastically down loading "stuff" - having said - that you can frequently go to the "authors" and get the same download with the same terms ... if your a bit squeemish. In their defense though (GOTD) they do the gathering and they are up front about what they do - quite frankly I can't remember just how I found them - maybe on some kind of software search - so I will end with a question - looking for a good "internet erase your tracks" kind of thing - any thoughts appreciated.

Tigere

I'm sure you will get many interesting answers if you start a new thread on the subject, so please do. I have a few suggestions of my own, but it's a little off topic from this thread.

Hey TIGERE !!

If the download turned into a Trial , it's because you didn't read the .text file that comes

with the download. ALL of their GiveAways are for the Full product. I have never had

a Trial from GAOTD . It might install as a trial but, if you have followed the instructions

correctly you would have known to open the Help tab in the software and then enter the

license manually or by double clicking on the Setup.exe :

The KEY with shield is the Auto license while the Installer

is the Trial and Manual Licensing.

Once installed correctly , you have the Full program for as long

as nothing happens to your HDD. If you should loose the data

on your HDD for whatever reason then, you are of luck because

these programs come with No re-install . SO , good idea to

back-up ALL of your data.

If , for some reason , the software does not install properly then,

Again, go to the link that I have provided and get help from "Ashraf"

Giveawayoftheday again!:p

Indeed I have to say there were lot of good software given away, but now I'm a little bit sceptical about it since I failed download the one named EASEUS Parition Manager Professional Edition, time is limited, but it took me more than half an hour without any result. To partition my hard disk, I got a free home edition partition software, from their website, but it could not support my 32-bit machine. at last I have asked many people to get a trialpay of the partition manager for free.

I have not touched Giveawayoftheday over one month, and later I knoe last time I failed to get Partition Manager because the server failure , nothing connected with Giveaway of theday.

now I will go to Giveawayof theday to find something useful to me, I will share with my friends
