Howdy,
Is there a way to remove the annoying 'Templates' shortcut in Word 2007 under Vista? Or at least a way to force it to remain in the position I move it to?
Practically every time I open the Save or Open dialog box that vexing Templates shortcut is always sitting atop all other shortcuts and it's really wearing on my nerves. Unfortunately, it's a fixed shortcut, and right-clicking on it doesn't give me the option to delete it. Is there a registry workaround or something to make it go away?
In the picture, it's sitting at the bottom (took the snapshot after moving it) but it always returns to the very top after I restart Word or even during the same session after a while.

%USERPROFILE%Links, for example c:UsersyournameLinks all files listed in the favorite bar are located here with the extension of .LNK or .lnk . Want to get rid of it just delete the link.
Removing the link does not remove the actual folder just the short cut to it.
