I recently recieved an e mail from PC Downloads about the "You Tube Downloader", and I did download it. I thought I found the answer. However, when I went to use it as it gathered "file information" it just kept going and going and never did ask for a destination folder.(from the video I chose to download). So I gave up on it for now.
So my question is two fold. Has anyone in here downloaded and used this software successfuly? And if not, do you know of any similar software to download flash videos? I can figure out how to convert it to lets say a .wmv file. using some other programs.
It would be neat to beable to download and save some of these flash videos to a disk to share or forward through e mail.
I particularly love funny and stupid videos, but am often dissapointed I cant easily share them with out sending a link to the original source. It would be so much easier to save them all to a CD and send them to the recipient all at once.
Any suggestions?
As Always Thank You
ArcticSid

Hey Arctic Sid !!
You might want to look at this page from Ashraf independent reviwer for GiveAwayofthDay .
Scroll down to this heading " Free Alternatives " and look at the recommendations .
Also , if you want paid for products for free then, visit GAOTD everyday. Sometimes , they have
really good products that make sense to download and install. BUT , remember,
if you are to download a program then, you only have 24 hrs. to install and register
the program with the license that is provided.
GiveAwayoftheDay .
If you miss out on a program that you wanted , don't despair , they usually come back as
updated giveaways.

I have used the YouTube Downloader, but it was not very useful to me because it often wouldn't download the YouTube video from the address I gave it. I'm using DownloadHelper for Firefox. PC World has recommendations for it all over the place, but here's one: http://www.pcworld.c...cle/150576-3/15musthavefirefox_addons.html
