Where can I download most versions of MS DOS?

I'm interested in using DOS on one or two of my computers. I found MS DOS 6.2 at the Microsoft Download Center, but where can I find other versions?
I brief explanation of the differences between them and which is better for what would also be helpful.

I would have liked to post this in the Operating Systems community since this regards the downloading of an operating system, but it's not possible to do so. It doesn't make sense to me.

Your best bet is going with the 6.2 version. However, I believe Microsoft has archives of the older files.
