I'd like to know if the infection found by Avira AntiVir is anything significant. It gave this report on the file:
The file 'E:tetris_extreme.exe'
contained a virus or unwanted program 'DR/Chiem.C.5' [dropper]
Action(s) taken:
The file was deleted!

Where can I learn more about infection: DR/Chiem.C.5?

:D Hi :
Since there is no standard "Naming Convention" among the various security companies,
that is a Question that should be researched and/or asked on the Avira Support Forums .
Did you select that what was "detected" should be "Deleted" or did the Avira program do it
"automatically" ( without your consent ) ? More and more the various security programs,
mostly antiVIRUS program(s), are having "False-Positives" based on making the
"Detections" more "sensitive" .

:D Hi :
Not a wise "1st Choice"; always Best to start by "Quarantining", then "Investigate" like you
are now doing; however, Best to start the "investigating" on the program's Online Support
Forums IF they exist . After doing the best investigating possible, can always "Delete" later .
One of the Regular Helpers on the Avast Support Forums periodically gives that Advise; he
also says IF the "Quarantined" Item does NOT effect the functioning of the computer, should
consider "Deleting" ( from the "Quarantine" ) after about 2 weeks .
