Hey tennisdude !!

Welcome to PCWorld Community !

As you might Now be aware, there aren't that many Security programs that

are directed to work in 64 bit period.

If I may ask , what is the security set-up you have for your Vista PC ?

I have had a hard time finding security programs that are 64 bit Vista ready.

Now, a HIPS program is a 64 bit rarity . I had no success finding any that

report being able to install on a Vista 64 bit . You might be able to post in

this forum at http://www.techsuppo...t-free-hips.htm . I would

register and then ask which program can support a 64 bit install. You will

get allot of answers so, if they are somewhat confusing then , post back here

and ask or post your concerns. I will try and demistify their answers.

Hey tennisdude !!

It would be Very Wise to wait till it comes out of beta Before

attempting to install and evaluate. If you feel confident enough

that you can handle a beta for this program then, go ahead

and let us know what you find out. I'm sure allot of members

would be delighted to have some kind of info. on new 64 bit

security programs. I for one, will look forward to your evalution

should you decide to try this Beta.

If you have any other queries , don't be shy , we normally don't

bite.

it says "this version can only be installed on versions of windows designed for the following processor architectures: x86." I went on a couple forums and found that this meant it wasn't compatible with 64 bit vista.
