The code comes from www.cornify.com, where they give you the javascript, and instructions for adding it to your own pages or bookmarks.

Crazy! Why did they kill it?! They would have gotten a ton of hits!
Does Konami still do that in their new video games?
You know what's funny about the classic Konami code? It seems like only our generation knows it. (I'm 30). You ask all the newer video game players what the Konomi code is and they probably have no clue what you are talking about!
