How do I restore the Menu Bar now missing in Task Manager?

Using XP... opened Task Manager to find no menu bar, only tabs. Can only close it by Alt + F4. It is still visible when logged onto other desktops.

double click on some empty space on the border (the space in between the task list and the surrounding edge border) and the full window of task manager should come back

Well that was a no brainer. I'm surpised I did just do that out of frustration.
