Hi Tina, First you could start by providing us with the Brand and Model of your printer. Also the OS you are using. coastie

Hi Tina, I don't know how helpful this is going to be : h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00255637&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3571753 . I have an HP PhotoSmart C5180 All-In-One. I unstalled the drivers and have nevr really been able to get reinstalled the way they were. It will print and scann Okay, just not as convieniently and haven't got the utilities that came with it. Bit aggravating. I have a step by step, but haven't tried it as yet. I do think it may be a software issue that will require uninstalling and reinstalling the stuff. coastie

Hi Tina, Although I am not familiar with that thing tek has posted, it may be worth a try. My issues with HP is in reinstalling the software and not Spool service. It gets to 96% and stalls. :p Sorry, I have been out today and just got back in. coastie

Seeing as how it is a spool.svc issue, it may. Uninstalling the drivers & software and then reinstalling may help. h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01416164&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3571753 coastie
