Yes, as you can tell by the title, I am seeking a good, free video editing program. I dislike using Windows Movie Maker because it is so limited as in what it can do, and it's generic effects and titles are seen all over Youtube. I remember getting some sort of free version of pinnacle, but I now forget what it was or how to get it. I do remember, however, that I had seen it in an issue of PCWorld. Any suggestions?

There are a few open source ones that are OK. That is, if you want it FREE and no strings attached.

Scroll down to 'Open source freeware' and start browsing there. Most of them will need a Linux install, but you can run Linux in VirtualBox (also free) if you have to.
