Hey all :-)

Can you recommend me any Video Editing Software? Some friends told me to buy magix movie edit pro (concerning their "great" community, dont know if that is true..)

And could you explain to me what differences are there between all these editing softwares like movie edit pro, sony vegas, pinnacle, and so on?

Greetings :-)

Hi :-)

"does just about anything" sounds really great, what do you do when you want to import/edit .mod files?

And what the other programs are they worse than movie edit pro?

So I guess I'm going to buy Movie Edit Pro, seems like no one uses the other programs - tells me more than a thousand words^^

I'll report on my experience later :-)

Just thought I would add another one to the mix. Windows Movie Maker is a free program that is worth checking out: http://download.live.com/moviemaker

Hi,

don't worry I worked with different freeapps before, like WMM, VirtualDub and so on but none of them was really that good even for being free, so I decided to try out a "real" software and downloaded the demoversion of movie edit pro and --> thats the program I was looking for!

When I get it from Amazon I'll post a short review. I hope that will make for ppl easier to find out what to buy/download..:-)

Got 2 weeks ago my Movie Edit Pro.

Easy to install and when I started it I was really surprised!

Before
all else: I tried out several free apps like WMM or virtualDub and they
were all deficient in their ways but Movie Edit Pro seems to be
perfect for me so far!

The handling is absolutely easy integrating effecs (oh and it has lots of effects) is super easy^^

I still got some problems with the keyframeanimator but I think that is only a question of time..

In brief: Awesome program, highly recommended! Super price, super shipping (thanks againg to amazon) perfect for beginners!
