im sure if you're hacking into your partners account, there are trust issues in the relationship so passwords/questions are the least of the couples' problems. as for celebs/politicos lossing control of their emails in that way, why would they be using a yahoo email in the first place? i'm sure they, the politicos, have a .gov email addy.

You Don't have to supply a correct answer, for example you could select any question and put in a random series of letters and numbers and write it down.

I personally think SMS/phone Verification, although not perfect, is a much stronger security precaution than e-mail, security question, CAPTHCA etc. I know that TeleSign.com offers Phone Verification that uses SMS as well as call telephone verification.
