I have several email photos from my Granddaughter of her new baby and would like to transfer them to my Adobe Photoshop.

Do you access the email by way of a web browser? Or do you use something like Outlook or Outlook Express?

Are the photo embedded in the message (i.e. do they display as part of the message) or are they "pure" attachments (i.e. you just see some sort of icon)?

Basically, you will want to save the photos to the hard drive and then you can open them in Photoshop from there. How you do this will kind of depend on how they are attached and one or two other things.

You should be able to right-click the attachment and then use a "Save as..." command (could either be a "Save link as..." or "Save target as..." not completely sure) to save the attachment to somewhere on your hard drive (such as your My Documents folder in XP or Documents folder in Vista).

Then, if Photoshop is your default photo program for that type of photo file format, then double clicking that attachment from Windows Explorer (i.e. through the My Documents or Documents folder) should open it in Photoshop. If Photoshop is not the default, then you will have to right-click the attachment file in Windows Explorer and use the Open With command.
