I am currently using McAffe security Suite, which came pre-installed with my Dell E310. Whenever I boot up my Windows XP Media Center Edition, I come to my desktop. In a few seconds a little popup pops up in my bottom right hand corner screen asking me to register or continue what I was doing links. So I click register, and it brings up a screen asking me to log in. I log in, and it brings up a screen showing that my computer is registered as a Dell computer in the McAffe database. It says I may not log in, and I must click this link to register it. I do, and it brings me to the McAffe site. It won't let me download anything.But I AM registered, and all I want is the update so it stops annoying me with these popups.Is there anyway to stop these popups, or at least get the updates?XD Thanks.

Can You enable automatic updates in McAffe? What happened when You press continue link? Are You visit Dell site? Computer registered as a Dell. :rolleyes:

alright I fixed it with a system restore.Dang, I love those things.

I HAD mcaffe but i got all those pop-ups and it lasted only 6 months so i went with AVG but anyways create a new login and start from there
