Hey phuc !!

PLZ , do not delay in visiting AumHa.net. They might be able to restore

your PC without the need to re-install, which now seems you won't be able

to do.

Just go to the AumHa forums and register. (like you have done here)

the link to register is in the upper left hand corner . Beside Login. Once registered, go back

to the page in the above link and READ the first line. It is a link

to prepare your PC for possible HijackThis logs and other tools.

Once you have read and done the cleaning they ask, start a new thread ,Describing

in details , what is happening here :

Then wait for an recommendation from one of

the Expert Volunteers .

This is , I think , the best solution for your situation. If you have any concerns while

on AumHa, stop and ask how. They will explain what they are looking for.

If , you are still unsure how to do a procedure then post here and we will help .

Keep us up-dated on your situation.

I have visited aumha.net like you said and I did post a thread but not in the Malware Removal forum. Here is my thread.. The expert in there tell me to go to http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=4075 and so I was following his directions. But then another problem appeared. My Malicious Software Removal Tool is not working. I tried it in "Safe Mode with Networking support", does that supposed to work. Then because my operating system folders were exposed, so I accidentally delete the important folder for the quick launch and start menu. I restored it but it wasn't back to normal yet. I tried to restore it a few times, it didn't work either. So you have any solution that could make my Malicious Software Removal Tool work or System Restore. I don't know what to do now.

:D Hi :

I read your 1st Post on the Aumha forums and the advise given by Robear Dyer, one of

their Experts; I would NOT get overly concerned about being unable to run the Malicious

Software Removal Tool ( which I am surprised they even mentioned this "tool" ) ; just go on

to "Step 4" and the following "Steps" and complete them to the best you can and the ability

of your computer to complete them . Most important are "Steps 5 & 6" . Then follow "Step 7"

and in your Post in their "Malware Removal" Forum, post the requested logs and IF you are

unable to post any One of them, explain in your Post WHY you are unable to post the

"requested" log .

Thanks. That helps a lot. I though I have to do everything they say in order to succeed all the things. Thanks, I'll try again. And where do I get the "requested log"? Or I would find out in the procedures.

Hey phuc !!

Well, I'm glad you decided to seek help at AumHa. Now, the Logs that are

requested will be available once the "Programs" mentioned on that site are

completed. First ,make sure to open Notepad and see if the Wordwrap option is

check marked. IF it is , Click on it to clear that check mark from the option Wordwrap:

Now , run the programs that are mentioned on the AumHa page. The resulting LOGS

will appear in Notepad Like this :

This is from the program "Security Check" program. This is only part of the log but, this is how it will

look . You can now Save this Log on your desktop by Clicking on File in Notepad and then ,

click on "Save As" . This is the Save Box that will appear :

Once you have chosen the destination (Desktop) , you will now click on the Save button.

It should now be on your Desktop as a .txt file .You will now do this for all of the other

Programs that they are requesting you provide them. By saving the Logs to your Desktop

they will be easier to find and then, you can Copy and Paste those logs in your next post

to AumHa.

If you want to download the MSRT Tool from Microsoft but, can't from your PC. I would suggest

you download it from a Clean PC (friend or family) and copy the .exe to a Flash Drive. Then ,

insert the Drive in your PC and run the tool by double clicking on the .exe. This is the download

page for the MSRT Tool :

http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en .

If you have any other questions , we will do our best to help out.

Thanks Flashorn. I went to the aumha.net website and follow the directions. They says that I should do a format and clean install of windows. Here is the thread if you want to see. So I don't know how to do that yet. I didn't have any CD or anything. So what do you suggest I should do?

phuc4712 - sorry I have been so late getting to you, but I was out on a project. From the information on the Acer website about your desktop indicates that like most manufactured machines of recent years, it was not shipped with a recovery DVD. Instead if your recovery partition is intact you are to burn one.
However, you can also return your machine to the as shipped factory condition. Here is a snip from the on line instruction manual. (Click on images to enlarge and sharpen).

Try the recovery partition first, and then if it is not intact post back and we will discuss the next step.

Hey phuc !!

Well, rgreen is very good at research. He would be greatly missed if

he ever decides to call it quits as we all appreciate his insight and

answers.

I'm glad you came out on top. AunHa did have the right idea as your

PC was a mess with all of those infected files all over the place, not

to mention the ones that were missing and locked.

Just make sure to have Good security protecting your investment.

Also good surfing habits are a Must . If you are to surf on the "Dark"

side , may I suggest you do it using this program :

Sandboxie. Learn how to use it(it's very easy).

If you have any questions about it , we will try and help as much as we can.

I'm glad your recovery partition was still intact. That made the process easier. I hope you burned the Recovery DVD's. Even though I ordered the recovery DVD from HP when I ordered this laptop, I still burned the recovery DVD's. (One can never have too many backups).
