I have recently had to do a Master Recovery on my pc, since doing the recovery my printer will not reinstall even though i have the correct installation cd that came with the printer. When the installation process reaches 49% of the install i get the following error message, {Error 1305 reading from file C: Program Files Hewlett Packard Digital Imaging hpis temp install.wsse.exe. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.} My OS is Windows XP Media Centre Edition, Can anyone please help. Many Thanks.

You might have to program C to delete it out first ...then install a new driver ..: From HP site ....

h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=90787&lang=en

(BTW..What do you see when you plug in the printer ....?...Wds normally is capable of finding a new driver and install it for you ..)

It is possible that your driver disk is damaged. You might try downloading the latest driver from the HP site:
