Hello guys, I just joined this forum and i hope someone can help me.  Here is my problem:I did run two port scanners, one from grc.com and the other one from symantec.com and both showed those ports to be open. Here is the problem. it is a new hard drive, fresh OS XP Home installed, SP2, 2006 Norton Firewall and Antivirus installed. I installed all this before I exposed this PC online. After I installed all this. I did all the updates and the port scanners still show those ports open.I even add those ports to be in Stealth Mode from the firewall but didn't work.I stopped and disable Web and Telnet services from Administrative Tools/ Services and didn't work.I contacted Symantec (Norton) and believe me, I did spend about two hours on the phone and they don't have a clue, they don't know why the firewall is not closing those ports. Also, no other programs are running or are being install either.I contacted the free tech from Microsoft and it will take about three days to get an answer. Also, I setup the firewall from the router that I use from my DSL. I specific disable FTP and Telnet (ports 21-22) and still those ports are open.I am up to date with Windows and Norton. I run the antivirus and nothing was detected.I also run the online Panda Software, and nothing was detected.I discover this problem last Friday. Like I mentioned before, I even got a new Hard Drive and got a fresh installation and no luck. Also, setup the Windows Firewall and specifictly closed those ports and nothing happen.Any ideas? I will really apreciate any coments. Thanks in advance,El Guapo
