Is it possible that a virus or spyware or whatever computer junk can enter when you leave your:Modem On>Doing a System Restore>Logining On/Off>Because I was on a trip for two days, and I shut down the modem. If I had left the modem on, could I be targeted by spyware? (I have my computer turned off, with modem turned on.)The other two are self explanitory.

All spyware I know of is not capable of going through a network, but trojans/worms/and some viruses can infect you. But 99% of the time, malware requires some user interaction (such as visiting a website with an ActiveX control).
