I had a down load that allowed me to hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse left for going back and right to go forward. I lost it when my computer got crapped up. Does any one know what it is ? Thank you

Are you talking about browser or normal explorer ?
If browsing is your concern , then opera browser comes with mouse gestures. Hold right mouse and perform gestures for all action. Moving rt. will forward and moving left will go to previous page. Download it from this link . The gestures are here.http://www.opera.com/browser/tutorials/gestures/

If its windows explorer that you are concerned about, then I havent used any mouse gesture software for explorer. I ve only done with opera . But there are plenty of available like this - http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/
