In the July issue I received yesterday, R. Lewis of Cary N.C. wrote about Expiration Pop-Ups. I had that problem shortly after installing 2009's. I wrote Symantic and they said to click on Norton. When it opens, click on Help and Support on the top right corner. A menu comes down. Drag down to Subscription Status. The computer will connect to Norton to check the status of your remaining time. When done, there is a large green check mark and the box says Status Check Complete. Below that it will tell you the remaining days of your subscritpion. The e-mail said it will update my subscription information when I do this, I have gotten the pop-up again anyway.

:D Hi :

Not surprising from Norton/Symantec products and their poor reputation of "Customer

Service" ; IF you want One of the Best antiVIRUS programs and are willing to PAY for it,

then your Choice should be NOD32 from Eset Software . The Best FREE antiVIRUS

programs ( and they are better then Norton ) are Avira/AntiVir or Avast .

Hi Sid,
This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.
The problem you describe means that your subscription did not synchronize properly with the Symantec servers. To resolve this issue, carefully follow the instructions in the following document.
Properly synchronize your Norton Subscription
Let me know if this resolves the issue for you.
Thank you,
Mike
