I would really like to see a more controllable home page.
I would like the iphone to allow the user to choose between 1 or 2 or 3 lockable Icons.
Currently we have only 1 line of 4 icons that are always available to the user no matter where he scrolls.
I personally would like 2 or maybe 3 areas that can be locked!!!!

Why can't we hook the iphone to the computer and through finder or explorer add or remove different wallpapers and different ringers. I hate the notifications for the email and text. I would like to remove those or simply add my own. Currently iphone users can only add new phone ringers. Also as far as the picture storing goes, I would like the iphone to allow the user to add different groups for pictures. We should not have to instal a apt for this. Then we can also add or remove these pictures through finder or explorer.

I agree totally with the pictures being added in the email itself, instead of copy/paste from the photo section!!!!!!

I've never really had great success with bluetooth on the iPhone. Yes I have always wanted A2DP and AVRCP still doesn't work. I own moto S9's.

For me the way I would like to use it is with a regular bluetooth ear piece. Listen to music in mono, and be able to answer calls.

We use to be able to do this through a flaw in the voice mail. But of course Apple Corrected it without providing this option. I look kind of funny with my S9's with one earpiece out so I can hear what is going on around me.

Right now to do this I have Firmware 3.0 and use a jabra earphone to bluetooth (old mono) unit. It works but is an external solution. Plus still no AVRCP.

As it is right now there is no built in way to listen to music on the standard bluetooth mono units that most people have. I suppose apple could make this a feature on thier own bluetooth headset. (If you are listening apple, maybe that is why you had to discontinue it). I think you need to get staff that understand bluetooth. If you are going to have a cool design build some earpice model that can have a removable sterio driver for the other ear, with AVRCP buttons on the main piece, lets see what you can do apple?

No bluetooth keyboard option, apple you still sell them, I bet you could sell more for a little software code on the iPhone.

One of the few things that prevents me from dumping my laptop altogether is the inability to open .wmv file attachments in emails. Don't how extensive an additional this would be for Apple, but .wmv is one of the more frequently used video formats (at least in the pc field).

I would like to see the ability to subscribe to and delete podcasts on the iPhone

the ability to backup app data only and restore on any iPhone
let's say you beat half of the levels in amiture surgion and have to get a replacement iPhone
it sucks that you would have to replay all of the same levels.

The ability to delete songs off the iPhone without the use of a computer.

I love the idea of seeing the wallpaper on the home screen after the swipe, but I'd like the ability for my front page to be icon free (so I can see said wallpaper better). I'd "hide" all my apps and icons on pages 2-11, and keep the front page to the 4 most used at the bottom....

i think the unified emails is a must-have!
also, i would really like if apple would enhance the settings so you can make your phone more YOU!
just little basic tweaks like different displays for the main applications (such as being able to change the SMS bubble color would be nice) as well as making the video "editor" a real editor! basically, giving all of the main applications those little options that make big differences! (my brothers razor from 2003 has more personal options under settings than my iPhone 3GS)
something else i would find extremely helpful, which apple has made a great improvement on in OS 3.0, is making all applications usable in landscape mode. EVEN the homescreen! i love using my iphone in landscape mode, and think a lot of users would like the option to use it in landscape whenever they want to.

Apart from Flash capabilities, the feature I'd most like to see is the ability to respond to an SMS message within the popup window, including from the lock screen.
Also I wouldn't mind the ability to sort YouTube video search results.

i would like the weather icon to be updated every day
like the clock icon changes with the time
and the calender icon changes with the date
but the weather icon always says 73 degrees
with a sunsymbol
it would be helpfull to tell u what the temperature is now and the little symbol would change along with the weather so if your on the go u dont have to open the app or anything
