A lot of people won't need this because a lot of people barely know how to use a phone, mis less a cell phone, as it is. I have a G1 and I'm really hoping that they can integrate this into the phone. (there is already an app for it, but I don't know how well it works since I'm still waiting for an invite)
Even if it doesn't get integrated into the G1 (or Android, rather) I still have a big use for it. I don't get signal where I work, but with this I can have calls automatically forwarded to my work phone, or respond to text messages through my computer...
Google Voice is something that phone carriers should already offer (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.), even though I doubt anything like that would happen, unless Google offers this to some of the members of the OHA (Open Handset Alliance).

Another corporate trying to control the market or rather the same corporate tryiong to control another market. A few comments on the way Google operates in a few older posts on mockoblog.com, but you may also find there what might have caused the latest airbus (another corporate) crash and how internet is not going to be free anymore. Just browse world's only mockoblog for a serious smile.
